Making Japanese Leaders

In a bid to remedy the shortage of strong leaders in the world's second biggest economy, Japan's Matsushita Institute of Government and Management trains hundreds of Japanese youth on leadership, with meditation a central part of the training program. The Matsushita Institute has trained more than 200 students, and nearly 70 of its alumni are politicians, including two who have served as cabinet ministers and one who was briefly leader of the main opposition party.
