A show called "Extreme Mammals" is currently held at the American Museum of Natural History, featuring an assortment of strange and wondrous creatures, both extinct and living. Specimens showed range from the egg-laying platypus to the so-called walking whale, a type of giant sea mammal that developed legs and feet.
